Job Description:

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of application systems. The role includes working with RPA tools, coding in Java and other technologies, applying CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating globally to deliver robust technical solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain systems within RPA Shared Technology framework
work directly with global application development teams, Operations teams/partners to successfully integrate application data
perform unit testing with proper documentation to adhere to application standards
work closely with other team members, onsite and remote to ensure consistent approach to development is used within the application
engage in architecture definition of new processes and review existing processes for improvements
provide ongoing maintenance and L3 production support
work with various business and technology teams to identify, assess, document, and implement RPA solutions using RPA tools (Work Fusion, Automation Anywhere, etc.)
support senior Project Manager in management, execution, and support of RPA deliverables, including infrastructure and RPA tool rollouts
facilitate working sessions with ICG groups to effectively review and track Robotics Process Automation use cases
manage issues/coordinate issue triage, drive issue resolution, prepare updates and reports for management
work with Citi Technology Infrastructure team (CTI), Shared Technology Environment team (STE), and other internal stakeholders to manage infra provisioning, upgrades, migration, GEM patches, new engineering initiatives, etc.
maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm
identify ways to maximize the potential of the applications used
manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality, and functionality against service level expectations
build components fully in compliance with technology standards
perform other duties and functions as assigned
act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
assess the platform periodically and propose innovative improvements leveraging up-to-date technology solutions

Requirements:

7+ years of relevant experience – Application development and technical support role
experience of working in a demanding and results driven, time critical environment
proven proficiency in dealing with complex technical issues across all aspects of the project lifecycle
experience deploying, configuring or supporting business applications
working knowledge of Relational Database (MS SQL/ Oracle DB)
working knowledge in excel and macros
working knowledge of any automation process
advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization
effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand
demonstrated analytical skills
issue tracking and reporting using tools
knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools
good all-round technical skills
ability to plan and organize workload
consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
