Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership and oversight for complex transportation design projects, ensuring the delivery of innovative, constructible, and high-quality solutions. You’ll manage engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, mentor junior staff, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and project managers, balancing technical precision with practical project execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the technical design and coordination of large or complex roadway, bridge, and multimodal projects
  • Provide advanced engineering analysis, quality control, and peer review to ensure compliance with standards and client expectations
  • Mentor and supervise engineers, EITs, and designers, fostering professional development and consistency across design teams
  • Support project managers with technical strategy, resource planning, and risk management
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal teams to resolve design challenges and maintain project momentum
  • Contribute to proposal development and business growth by providing technical input and leadership in project pursuits

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of transportation engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D software
