Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Consumer Data Management team within the Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation (CRIT) group - a unit within Corporate Credit Risk. Credit Risk Intelligence & Transformation is responsible for aggregating credit risk exposure across the company to aid in many use cases including – Regulatory Reporting, Management Reporting, and analytics. The position will be responsible for external reporting requirements and ensuring fully documented work products and processes. Your leadership skills are essential to managing deadlines, compliance with regulatory requirements, and continued enhancement of credit risk reporting. Strong partnership skills are needed to foster and facilitate relationships with colleagues across multiple locations to provide an integrated and comprehensive picture of the bank’s credit risk.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with Risk, Technology, Finance, and Operations teams to provide data solution for business dynamics
Improve data and reporting efficiency and increase team productivity
Enhance data monitoring, audit, and documentation to ensure data quality, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risk
Perform complex data analysis to address source reconciliation and data research and development, and enhance data integrity monitoring methodology and data release control
Design and maintain usage control and governance framework and manage LOB collaboration
Support change management framework and execution
Support attribute design and manage element definition and verification process with LOB

Requirements:

4+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both
or 2+ years of experience in a risk role and a Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or business
4+ years of SAS programming experience
4+ years of SQL programming experience

Nice to have:

Knowledge and experience in producing Regulatory Reports such as FR-Y14M series etc.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with keen attention to detail and with sound business judgment
ability to interpret analytical problems and create efficient data driven solutions
Result orientated to deliver, self-motivated to learn and to influence
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Ability to research, trend, and analyze data
Ability to lead project and coach junior team members

Knowledge of consumer risk management and consumer products
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
