Role description: The Senior Rewards Specialist (Fixed Term Contract, 12 Months) will support and help lead the design, governance and delivery of Arcadis APM reward activities, ensuring alignment to Arcadis’ global reward framework, pay transparency objectives, and transition plans.
Job Responsibility
Support the design and implementation of reward structures (fixed pay, STI, LTI, benefits) aligned to global reward philosophy and market benchmarks
Contribute to harmonisation of reward practices across APM and Arcadis, ensuring consistency and fairness
Play a key role in the APM Reward Transition (2026–2027), supporting standardisation of legacy terms and alignment to the future operating model
Support job evaluation, job levelling and mapping activities to enable accurate reward comparisons and integration decisions
Ensure reward decisions are in line with global policy, salary bands, and governance frameworks
Strengthen controls, documentation and audit readiness to mitigate compliance and employee relations risks
Design and deliver comprehensive reward educational principles, enable the required cultural, change, and help align APM practices with Arcadis Group People and Reward standards, particularly around pay transparency, governance and decision making
Provide guidance to People Business Partners and business leaders on reward decisions and pay positioning
Partner closely with People Business Partners, Finance, and business leadership to drive consistent awareness and application of reward practices
Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive reward matters including offers, retention, and structural changes
Requirements
Proven experience in compensation & benefits / reward (preferably in a global or matrixed environment)
Strong understanding of job evaluation, pay benchmarking, and incentive design
Experience supporting transformation, M&A, or reward harmonisation initiatives
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear recommendations
Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
