Job Description:

Senior Revenue Manager position at Courtyard by Marriott Bhopal responsible for maintaining transient rooms inventory and maximizing revenue. The role involves analyzing revenue data, implementing selling strategies, coordinating with sales teams, and ensuring brand compliance while driving profit and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain transient rooms inventory and maximize transient revenue
Release group rooms back into general inventory
Ensure clean booking windows for customers
Recommend pricing and positioning of cluster properties
Oversee inventory management system
Compile information and analyze actual sales against projected sales
Conduct sales strategy analysis to increase market share
Maintain accurate reservation system information
Analyze period end data to identify trends and future need periods
Update market knowledge and align strategies accordingly
Achieve and exceed performance and budget goals
Establish long-range objectives and specify strategies
Ensure hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies
Manage rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue
Assist hotels with pricing and business evaluation recommendations
Coordinate strategies between group sales offices
Use reservations and demand forecasting systems to determine selling strategies
Check distribution channels for hotel and competitor positioning
Initiate, implement and evaluate revenue tests
Communicate brand initiatives and market analysis to stakeholders

Requirements:

2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
3 years experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
OR 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
1 year experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or related professional area
Experience analyzing and reporting revenue management data
Knowledge of inventory management systems
Experience with sales strategy analysis
Ability to generate accurate reports and presentations
