Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Revenue Accountant/Manager to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting specialist with expertise in managing revenue processes, accounts receivable, billing operations, and financial reconciliations. As part of a long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations while contributing to the company's overall success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee accounts receivable processes, including aging reports and collections, to ensure timely and accurate revenue management
  • Manage billing and invoicing operations, including time and materials billing, while maintaining accuracy and compliance with company standards
  • Prepare and review general ledger entries and reconcile accounts to support financial reporting and audits
  • Handle vendor contracts and manage systems related to billing and revenue innovation
  • Conduct detailed analysis of receivables aging and implement strategies to address overdue accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve billing processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor and report on key revenue metrics to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with commercial contracts and regulatory requirements related to revenue accounting
  • Utilize SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management tools to streamline accounting processes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members to ensure consistent and high-quality performance

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in managing accounts receivable, including aging accounts and collections
  • Strong knowledge of billing systems, time and materials billing, and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management
  • Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, and financial reconciliations
  • Familiarity with analyzing and managing commercial contracts and vendor systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial scenarios
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
