Our Corporate Restructuring Team is instrumental in business transformation, driving high-impact initiatives with a global perspective. This is a unique position within the finance team.

Job Responsibility

  • Planning and undertaking due diligence and implementing transactions (sale of shares, business or assets)
  • Assisting in conjunction with the M&A team, the preparation of valuations
  • Project managing the execution of complex restructures such as legal mergers or amalgamations of overseas companies
  • Working with overseas lawyers to complete deregistration or liquidation processes
  • Meeting with local management to discuss winding down of operations and balance sheets
  • Preparing and presenting restructure projects to Senior Management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on range of projects
  • Drafting of legal and company secretarial documents
  • Completing internal checklists to substantiate transactions

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting and have completed your CAANZ or CPA qualification
  • 5-6 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring
  • Keen to work collaboratively and contribute in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Organisation and project management skills
  • Commercial awareness with strong business acumen
