WiseTech Global’s growth strategy means there is an increased need for legal entity rationalisation. We are, as a consequence, expanding our Corporate Restructuring Team. Our Corporate Restructuring Team is instrumental in business transformation, driving high-impact initiatives with a global perspective. This is a unique position within the finance team.
Job Responsibility:
Planning and undertaking due diligence and implementing transactions (sale of shares, business or assets)
Assisting in conjunction with the M&A team, the preparation of valuations
Project managing the execution of complex restructures such as legal mergers or amalgamations of overseas companies
Working with overseas lawyers to complete deregistration or liquidation processes
Meeting with local management to discuss winding down of operations and balance sheets
Preparing and presenting restructure projects to Senior Management
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on range of projects
Drafting of legal and company secretarial documents
Completing internal checklists to substantiate transactions
Requirements:
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting and have completed your CAANZ or CPA qualification
5-6 years’ experience in insolvency and restructuring
Keen to work collaboratively and contribute in a team environment
