The Role As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in supporting children and young people within a residential setting, helping them to thrive in a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead by example and support junior staff on shift
Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
Support care plans and behaviour management strategies
Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing is always the top priority
Contribute to a positive and stable home environment
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) – ESSENTIAL
Previous experience in a residential childcare setting
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Ability to work a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern, including sleep-ins
Passion, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a difference
