As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding residential care for children and young people in Sheffield, working closely with the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager to create a positive, stable, and caring environment where every young person can thrive.
Job Responsibility:
Support the delivery of high-quality residential care for children and young people in Sheffield
Lead shifts and support the wider team to provide consistent, caring support to children and young people
Ensure safeguarding, care planning, and daily recording are completed to a high standard
Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people and help them develop confidence, independence, and resilience
Contribute to a safe, homely, and welcoming environment in residential care
Support the home manager in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards
Requirements:
Experience working in children and young people's residential care
A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
A child-centred, nurturing, and resilient approach
The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
