Job Responsibility:
Foster a warm, homely atmosphere within the residence through shared activities and light housekeeping
Lead daily routines, from educational preparation to meal times and creative projects
Build deep, meaningful relationships that provide emotional stability for those in your care
Maintain meticulous records to ensure every young person receives the best possible support
Act as a safe space for expression, helping young people manage both their breakthroughs and their challenges
Requirements:
Backgrounds in healthcare, social care, SEN, or community services are highly valued, though full training is provided for the right candidate
A full manual UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role
Successful candidates must pass an enhanced PVG check and provide a comprehensive two-year reference history
Ability to commit to a 37.5-hour weekly schedule including the required sleep-in shifts
You must be patient, a great listener, and dedicated to the safeguarding and welfare of children
