Senior Residential Care Worker

• Supporting the day-to-day residential care of children and young people, including personal care where required
• Ensure that all children and young people in our residential care setting are supported with dignity, respect, and a clear understanding of their individual trauma and needs
• Work in partnership with safeguarding teams and external professionals to ensure children and young people receive consistent, joined-up residential care
• Contribute to care planning and actively engage in training to strengthen your trauma-informed residential care practice, improving outcomes for children and young people

• Has experience working in residential care with children and young people, including those impacted by trauma
• Holds a Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People's Workforce (or equivalent)
• Is committed to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed residential care for children and young people
• Can build positive, professional relationships with children and young people within a residential care setting
• Is organised and confident managing responsibilities within residential care
• Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to support across residential care services
• Is committed to ongoing professional development within residential care, particularly trauma-informed practice
