Senior Residential Support Worker Horizon Care and Education have an opportunity for a Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our team. Candidates must hold a level 3 in Children's and Young Peoples workforce qualification for this role and hold a full UK driving licence. Bright Futures, Inspired By You. Job Responsibility

  • Helping young people continue with hobbies, social activities, and friendships, and learn new skills
  • Supporting young people to reach their potential and experience new opportunities
  • Conducting Supervisions for staff members
  • Manage the home effectively in the absence of the Deputy or Manager
  • Effectively lead shifts, direct and support colleagues
  • Manage health and safety processes in the home including the implementation and monitoring of risk assessments
  • To support the induction of colleagues into the home
  • To be responsible for safeguarding and actively promoting the welfare of children and young people

Requirements

  • Hold a level 3 in Children's and Young Peoples workforce qualification
