Job Description:

The Senior Sales Reservations Agent reports to the Reservations Supervisor and is responsible for contributing to Air North, Yukon’s Airline revenue by providing exceptional customer service and sales services. The Agent will answer phone calls and reply to emails to sell products in a friendly and professional manner. Additionally, this position is expected to be a resource for all Agents, answering questions and providing support as needed.

Job Responsibility:

  • Answer and resolve all Customer Service emails in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide general flight and airport information
  • Change and update itineraries
  • Stay current and knowledgeable on all Company products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service – anticipate and identify customer needs and/or situations
  • provide solutions/services and remain compassionate and professional
  • Execute individual or travel agent bookings as directed upon request from the customer or colleague
  • Act as a resource for all agents, answering questions and providing support
  • Assist with training new agents, as requested
  • Handle escalated calls from Agents, passing on to Supervisor if required
  • Communicating solutions, successes and opportunities to the Supervisor
  • Take initiative to ensure all training, specifically new travel system training, available is completed in a timely fashion

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years Reservation or Call Centre experience
  • Minimum 1 year aviation experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and bookings software
  • Proven ability to lead and support a team
  • Must demonstrate a passion for providing superior customer service
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
