Job Description:

Senior Relationship Manager position in Citi Commercial Bank UK's Industrials team covering UK-headquartered Mid-Corporate companies with global footprint and annual revenue ranging from $100MM to $3BN. The role focuses on building portfolio by acquiring new relationships and managing existing client relationships while mentoring junior bankers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Self-originate new, multi-product and multi-country clients for CCB UK
  • Manage client relationships on ongoing basis
  • Actively call on clients to deepen relationships and anticipate future needs
  • Understand and follow trends within the industry to provide thought leadership
  • Drive innovation on solutions provided to clients
  • Oversee credit relationship of clients
  • Be responsible for Client-level planning, budget and revenue responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies
  • Assess risk when making business decisions

Requirements:

  • Graduate / Master's degree
  • Experience in commercial banking relationship management
  • Understanding of Industrials sector trends
  • Ability to understand client financial performance and participate in credit underwriting
  • Knowledge of debt capital markets
  • Experience building consensus internally and managing risk management/credit committee discussions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of full product capabilities of the bank
  • Experience driving business independently with heavy emphasis on new business development
  • Experience mentoring Analysts, Associates and Junior Bankers
  • Must pass Fit and Proper assessment including honesty, integrity, financial soundness, competence and capability
