Job Description

The role is to oversee the effective and efficient functioning of the actuarial function, working in collaboration with colleagues across various disciplines and jurisdictions.

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for the reinsurance pricing and underwriting function, including management of the transactions from deal design through to execution and KPI tracking
  • Co-create and implement the Companies Group reinsurance optimization framework. Innovate reinsurance transactions tailored to maximize value
  • Evaluate and recommend alternative risk transfer programs aligned with economic risk appetite
  • Monitor key market drivers and anticipate the impact on reinsurance supply and demand dynamics

Requirements

  • University graduate
  • Fellowship in a recognized international actuarial professional body
  • Minimum 10 years actuarial experience
  • Practical knowledge of life insurance products
  • Experiences of working in reinsurance companies and on non-traditional reinsurance structure preferred
