Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Transformation Project Manager to lead complex regulatory reporting and data transformation initiatives within financial services. This role combines regulatory expertise, programme delivery, stakeholder management, and people leadership. You will work closely with senior clients to deliver large-scale regulatory change while contributing to the growth and development of regulatory transformation.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex regulatory reporting and data transformation programmes
  • Develop and manage project plans, SOWs, budgets, timelines, resource models, and delivery governance
  • Translate regulatory requirements into practical business, data, and technology solutions across Finance, Risk, and IT
  • Manage senior stakeholders across entities and jurisdictions, acting as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Oversee data governance, data quality, lineage, and controls for regulatory reporting
  • Prepare and present executive-level materials for steering committees and senior leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop multi-disciplinary teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture
  • Contribute to business development, client proposals, thought leadership, and market-facing initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong experience delivering regulatory reporting and regulatory data transformation programmes within financial services
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as BCBS 239, RDARR, IReF, IFRS 9, or similar
  • Proven programme and project management capability, using methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum
  • Experience eliciting business requirements and bridging Finance, Risk, and Technology stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of regulatory data governance, including data ownership, quality, lineage, and taxonomy
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulatory reporting production (capital, liquidity, profitability)
  • Project management or Agile certification
  • Exposure to regulatory reporting tools, cloud platforms, and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Management consulting experience
