We are seeking a Senior Registry Assistant to join our team. In this role you will, provide an efficient, customer focused administration service within the Registry Team ensuring both the student and staff experience are at the heart of all actions and build excellent working relationships with key staff to support the accurate and timely processing of student data.
Job Responsibility:
Promote and provide an excellent customer experience as the first point of contact for enquiries from staff, students and the public, either in person, by telephone or email
Process enrolment of students onto courses, using College Information System, e.g. entering data, assessing and collecting fees and producing ID cards in accordance with department procedures
Take the lead on all aspects of the data release process, and to ensure the completeness and accuracy of student data that is released meet our statutory requirements in line with the Colleges Data Protection Policy
Research and keep up to date with changes to legislation to inform policy changes and the impact on internal data release procedures, including cascading information to other team members
Identify duplicate application records and work to resolve these to ensure accuracy in data and funding return
Work with other departments to ensure processes are introduced to eliminate these in the future
Requirements:
Experience of dealing with people at all levels and of all ages, both in person, on the telephone and communicating by letter/email
Experience of working with complex databases for data collection, input, tracking and reporting
Experience of validation of data against published specification
Administration experience in a busy customer focused office environment
Knowledge and experience of MS Office Applications, including Excel and Word
Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in relevant subject area or equivalent
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent
