We’re hiring for a world-class Senior Recruiter to lead the charge in scaling our exceptional team. You'll own full-cycle (sourcing through offer) hiring across all roles at Tavus, build our entire recruiting engine from scratch, and partner directly with the team to define and execute our talent strategy. We’re looking for a Talent Builder who thrives in early-stage chaos, loves building systems, and is excited to attract the kind of people who want to build what hasn't been built before.
Job Responsibility:
Find and hire exceptional talent that increases the talent density at Tavus
Own end-to-end recruiting across all functions (engineering, GTM, Operations, and more)
Source exceptional candidates through outbound efforts and creative channels
Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements, interview processes, and closing strategies
Build the recruiting infrastructure from the ground up - tools, process, candidate experience, data tracking, etc.
Craft compelling job descriptions and outbound messaging to attract top talent in AI, engineering, and beyond
Champion inclusive hiring best practices from day one
Build and nurture a talent pipeline for future roles as Tavus scales
Take lead on all things People Ops - from generating offers, onboarding new hires, handling visa logistics, etc.
Requirements:
5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in-house experience as first recruiter at an early-stage startup (ideally series A or B)
agency experience a plus
Proven success hiring top-tier talent across all functions, and specifically technical AI/ML roles
You’re a builder: you’ve created recruiting systems/processes from scratch or significantly improved existing ones
Exceptional communication and candidate experience instincts
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in ambiguity
Passion for AI and the opportunity to shape a team working at the edge of what’s possible
Nice to have:
Experience hiring in ML/AI-heavy companies or deep tech startups
