Job Responsibility:
Design and deliver inclusive, forward‑thinking strategies to engage high‑potential early career talent across universities, apprenticeships, and early career programmes
Create meaningful experiences that introduce candidates to Microsoft as a place where curiosity is encouraged, learning is continuous, and impact starts from day one
Own and deliver a comprehensive Early in Profession recruiting strategy that aligns with business priorities and long‑term workforce planning
Use market insights, talent intelligence, and campus trends to shape hiring plans, influence decision‑making, and strengthen Microsoft’s competitive position
Partner closely with talent acquisition peers, workforce planning teams, and business leaders to forecast demand, plan hiring volumes, and ensure a sustainable early talent pipeline
Build and sustain strong, trusted relationships with universities, student organisations, and career services to elevate Microsoft’s employer brand
Design and deliver impactful on‑campus and virtual experiences, including events, hackathons, and tailored engagement programmes that attract diverse, early‑career talent
Act as a passionate Microsoft ambassador at targeted events, conferences, and bespoke initiatives, inspiring candidates and showcasing the opportunities available at Microsoft
Use data and metrics, and an understand business priorities to advise on talent acquisition strategy across one or more a business group, industry solution area, or subsidiary on the implications of talent gaps
Apply deep knowledge and consultative skills relevant to the business and hiring managers' needs
Consult a division, region, or subsidiary on critical talent needs and opportunities
Review and analyze business and market data and trends to improve performance, and uses insights to support across teams
Share proven methodologies and partnerships that help others across the discipline to source, recruit, and/or close candidates
Coach the client to represent Microsoft’s unique career possibilities, advantages, and rewards that are distinct from those of competitors
Gather requirements and develops hiring plans that meet candidate needs throughout the hiring lifecycle, often for critical, complex, high level or high volume candidate searches
Leverage long-term relationships with talent pools and communities across the industry
Develop and implement multi-channel pipeline strategies to meet hiring demand targets for differentiated talent for a division, set of countries, or subsidiaries
Drive the adoption of the candidate assessment framework and identify, adopt, and evangelize best practices that ensure high-quality hires
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree AND experienced in talent acquisition (e.g., recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or industry experience related to role OR equivalent experience
Experience from a high volume recruitment sector and scalable hiring practices
