Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the Practice Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the practice where required, help develop efficient systems of management and to delegate tasks appropriately
  • To promote the development and maintenance of a quality learning environments throughout the practice
  • To deputise for the practice manager and will be a member of the surgery team with the delegated responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the surgery
  • Ensure the effective processing of all administrative work and appropriate liaison with the reception and administration team

Requirements:

  • NHS or GP Practice experience and previous use of System One is desirable
  • Reception or customer care experience is essential as well as an excellent communicator both spoken and written
  • Must have basic PC skills such as Word, Excel and email
  • Able to work within processes, procedures and maintain confidentiality and data security
  • Previous experience of working in the NHS is welcome but not essential

Nice to have:
