Job Description:

The Senior Real Estate Analyst will report to the Real Estate Strategy & Systems Manager and supports the Real Estate Team. Position is responsible for both the modifications to existing and creation of new tools and systems needed for project tracking, site selection, and project evaluation for Real Estate. This position is also responsible for leading training as it relates to these tools. The ideal candidate has the curiosity to go the extra mile to understand difficult problems and develop solutions. Key attributes of the candidate are a strong analytical and data development skill set, as well as an ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and manage multiple projects.

Job Responsibility:

Ownership of the maintenance of existing and the development of new tools for project tracking, project evaluation and financial analysis
Required to perform consistent testing of these tools to ensure accuracy and functionality
Serving as a super user and a super admin with advanced expertise in Smartsheet and MAP/SLAP template, while being the primary point of contact for resolving peers questions and providing guidance
Display proactive leadership for extensive training initiatives, including but not limited to Real Estate Training calls and on-site meetings
Ensure training material and documentation is created and updated to accommodate changes in process and responsibilities, and communicated with team
Supporting team members in coordinating communications, development of organizational tools, and maintaining data
Involved in cross functional meetings to identify process improvements and develop solutions
Building out analytical improvements through special projects in collaboration with Global Real Estate, Data and Analytics, and Business Intelligence as well as other functional groups
Perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required. Major in business administration, analytics, finance, real estate, or similar field preferred
3+ years work experience with analytics, GIS, market research, business analytics, or finance
Proficient in data analysis using various tools and statistical packages
Technical aptitude to learn and understand the latest tools and use them to make recommendations and understand large and complex datasets
Intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and continually prioritize and re-prioritize tasks as new projects are assigned
Must possess strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

5+ years relevant work experience with analytics, real estate, or finance
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including knowledge of lookups, pivot tables, and power queries
Experience working with SharePoint as a user and site administrator
Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, GIS Systems (KLI), Smartsheet and Google Earth
2+ years working with a national or international retailer
