In 2018, Bitvavo launched the first version of its digital assets trading platform, to bridge the gap between traditional currencies and digital assets. Job Responsibility

  • Designing and developing user interface components and shaping the ever-growing front-end architecture
  • Implementing responsive and intuitive user interfaces
  • Working closely with designers to bring their concepts to life
  • Optimising the performance and usability of our front-end applications
  • Actively participate in code reviews
  • Contribute to the selection and adoption of new technologies
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong proficiency in React, React Native, Jest, TypeScript, and CSS
  • Experience state management libraries like Redux and side-effect management libraries such as Redux-Saga
  • Previous experience with testing frameworks like Jest and/or automation testing tools such as Detox, Appium or Maestro
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android native development, understanding complex flows and a good grasp of WebSockets would be highly beneficial
  • Strong interest and passion for delivering high-quality code in fast-paced environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with cross-functional teams

Nice to have

Experience with identifying, investigating, and resolving performance bottlenecks is a plus
