The key purpose of the role is to plan raw and packaging materials for a European site based on the defined production schedules.
Job Responsibility:
Manage inventory profiles and takes full ownership/accountability for meeting agreed targets with focus on slow- and non-movers while looking for opportunities leading to scrap reduction
Ensure proper information exchange with external suppliers, Finished Goods Planners, Production Schedulers and other stakeholders e.g. RSR, PLM, PD
Take full ownership/accountability on assigned regional projects outside his/her area of responsibility (Production, 3PM or Warehouse footprint projects, legal labelling adjustment, new tools implementation or upgrade as tool/process Key User, etc.
Identify and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Management or Business Administration
Min. 4 years experience in similar position
Business fluent English is required
Good communication skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships at different levels of organization
Ability to work in virtual environment
Open-minded and flexible personality
Strong analytical skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Excel in particular)
Strong presentation skills and ability to deliver key messages
Proven Project Management experience
Nice to have:
Basic knowledge of MRP planning is an advantage
