TTM Healthcare are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our dynamic team in Galway. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified individual to contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a state-of-the-art medical facility.
Job Responsibility:
Performing Radiographic and Imaging Examinations as required
Maintaining a consistently high standard of Radiography
Participating in on-call services as needed
Adhering to the three principles of radiation protection: justification, optimisation, and dose constraints/limits
Conducting routine daily inspections of equipment and quality assurance procedures
Reporting any defects or issues promptly to the Radiology Manager or Clinical Specialist
Keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and developments in Radiographic and Imaging procedures through active participation in in-service training and Continuing Professional Development
Supporting and actively participating in research projects
Providing training to junior or less experienced staff
Reporting all defects and occurrences affecting safety
Carrying out other duties as directed by the Radiology Services Manager or Clinical Specialist in the respective area
Requirements:
Hold a diploma from the College of Radiographers (Diagnostic) or possess a Bachelor of Science or its equivalent (Diagnostic Radiography)
Be registered with CORU
Have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a diverse range of examinations
Demonstrate experience working collaboratively in a team of Radiographers
Exhibit the ability to work effectively under pressure
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Show evidence of continuous professional development
Demonstrate a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
Be flexible in their role and willing to take on additional duties as required
