Job Responsibility

  • Preparation of numerical models and conducting strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, overspeed, FBO, crack propagation) of aero engine components
  • Project management and coordination of Fast Dynamics division
  • Support in creation and deployment of technical and organizational processes, instructions and best practices
  • Technical support of co-workers and sharing knowledge in the field of numerical simulations
  • Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production

Requirements

  • Master degree in Engineering
  • In-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, Implicit and Explicit numerical methods, proficiency in composite materials modelling, familiarity with meshless simulation methods
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry
  • Ability of technical drawing interpretation
  • LS-DYNA, Ansys and/or HyperMesh experience
  • Very good English skills
  • Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude, mentoring and decision-making skills

Nice to have

  • Design experience will be considered a plus
  • Programming skills in VBA and Python (automatization of repetitive tasks) will be an asset
