The Interventional Urology Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for leading, defining, and evaluating new product development tasks as they pertain to active implantable medical devices, specifically the electrical domain.
Job Responsibility
Leading, defining, and evaluating new product development tasks for active implantable medical devices in the electrical domain
Understands definition and development of complex electrical hardware architectures
Experience with EMC, Safety testing, and 60601 standards
Experience working within FDA standards and expectations
Provides guidance to other employees
Demonstrates strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Works with team on system-level requirements and translating them into hardware solutions
Experience in analog/digital circuit design for low power or implantable applications
Supports product lifecycle from concept through post-market support
Ensures rigorous risk management practices
Advocates for best practices and continuous improvement
Collaborates with all functions within R&D
Drives root-cause analysis and resolution of complex hardware issues
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, or related field
5+ years of engineering experience
Active Implantable medical device system experience
Nice to have
Master’s degree in related field
