Job Description:

An established and highly respected Chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking an experienced and independent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their small but thriving team based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for greater autonomy and long-term progression towards Partner/Director level. The consultancy operates on a flexible hybrid working model, offering a highly autonomous environment ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing their own workload while contributing to a collaborative team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering a varied portfolio of projects ranging in value from £250k to £10m across multiple sectors including bars, pubs, and restaurants
  • retail fit-outs
  • industrial sheds and distribution centres
  • private residential developments
  • office new builds and fit-outs
  • education schemes (private and further education)

Requirements:

  • RICS Accredited degree (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
  • MRICS ideally but not crucial
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy/PQS firm is a MUST
  • Strong pre and post contract experience
  • A successful track record leading projects from inception to completion
