Job Description:

Seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor based in Bristol. This position plays a pivotal role in main and subcontract negotiation, financial project oversight, risk management, and commercial responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to drive leadership and work collaboratively within the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage contractual agreements, negotiations, and LOI's
  • Supervise financial management of projects, client invoicing, and project cash flow
  • Review and approve contract variations and resolve contractual disputes
  • Monitor commercial operational activities and assist in restructuring business processes
  • Train and coach employees, working collaboratively with senior management
  • Participate in regular meetings, project reviews, risk assessments, and senior management gatherings
  • Accept extra duties, work efficiently under stress, and remain abreast of industry changes

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor for grid connections or an ability to demonstrate relevant skills
  • Robust understanding of budget, cash flow management, and business finance essentials
  • Proven leadership and communication abilities, with a willingness to develop new skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanour, and initiative-taking approach
  • Mastery of MS Office tools and ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly
