Job Description:

Manage all quantity surveying, cost estimation, and contractual cost control functions for a major dam/civil works project, ensuring financial and contractual compliance.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, unit rates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
Contribute to the preparation of civil works procurement documentation
Administer cost control, valuations, and payment processes under FIDIC contracts
Schedule and plan works using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
Manage quantity/cost records and provide analytical support for contract management

Requirements:

Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent
15+ years overall experience, with 10+ years on similar dam/irrigation projects
5+ years of experience working in similar project environments (e.g., remote/developing regions)
Experience on World Bank or similar internationally-financed projects using FIDIC procurement documents
Expertise in cost estimation, BOQs, tendering, and FIDIC contract management
Proficiency in project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, or other CPM/PERT tools)
Strong analytical, communication, and commercial skills

Nice to have:

Deep understanding of irrigation engineering principles and construction methods
