Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor role for a residential specialist to own the commercial lifecycle of housing projects from start to finish, mentor an Assistant QS, and work on long-term contracts in Surrey/Sussex.

Job Responsibility:

Managing everything from initial procurement and sub-contractor tender packages to monthly valuations and final accounts
Mentoring an Assistant QS
Problem solving for cost spikes or sub-contractor issues
Collaboration with Site Managers to ensure quality homes within budget

Requirements:

Significant time with housebuilders
Understanding of pace, margins, and madness of residential schemes
'Shovel' mindset and ability to lead by example
Loyalty and history of good stints
COINS competency
Ambition and desire to grow
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
