Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Lead commercial delivery within a designated geographic area
• Produce accurate and timely commercial reports, forecasts, and advice to support decision-making
• Manage subcontract procurement, administration, interim applications, variations, and final accounts
• Oversee accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management
• Manage upstream and downstream change control processes
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all commercial data, documentation, processes, and reporting
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including the client's commercial team
• Identify, manage, and escalate commercial risks or issues to senior leadership
• Support, mentor, and guide junior commercial staff
• Deliver against internal and external commercial performance targets
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quantity surveying and commercial management practices
• Use finance systems (such as COINS) to maintain effective financial controls

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent commercially related discipline, ideally working toward professional membership (RICS or CIOB)
• Relevant commercial experience
• Strong background in heavy civils
• substation experience is desirable
• Essential experience working with NEC3 or NEC4 forms of contract
• Supervisory or management experience within a project commercial team
• Ability to manage a small team while reporting into senior leadership for strategic guidance
• Strong commercial acumen with a delivery-focused mindset
• Experience within energy-related or major infrastructure environments
• Proficiency using Contract Management Systems (e.g., CEMAR, FastDraft)
