Job Description

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a highly regarded, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy based in South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who wants autonomy, variety, and genuine career progression within a supportive Quantity Surveying team. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work across residential, education, healthcare, local authority, regeneration, refurbishment, and community-led projects across London and the South East.

Job Responsibility

  • delivering cost plans, tender documentation, procurement advice, valuations, cost reports, change control, and final accounts
  • support junior Quantity Surveyors
  • attend client meetings
  • work closely with senior leadership on larger instructions
  • take ownership of projects from inception to completion

Requirements

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a RICS-accredited equivalent
  • MRICS, or currently working towards chartership
  • Strong cost consultancy / PQS experience
  • Excellent pre and post contract knowledge
  • Experience delivering projects from inception to completion
  • Confident with JCT contracts
  • Professional, client-facing, and commercially aware
  • Able to support junior Quantity Surveyors
  • Based within commuting distance of South London
