Job Description:

We are collaborating with several reputable construction firms, including multinational consultancies and local main contractors, renowned for delivering usual high-rise residential/commercial to mega skyscraper projects across Malaysia. These organizations are committed to excellence in project execution and offer robust career advancement opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Manage pre and post-tender activities, including cost planning and estimation
Review and analyze tender sums, contract terms, and conditions to ensure successful project awards
Oversee the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring accurate cost control and final account settlements
Engage in technical aspects of tendering, such as cost calculations and information compilation
Strategically manage contract terms and propose solutions for any unsuitable clauses
Source and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure optimal deals
Monitor project progress and handle contractual disputes to manage project costing effectively
Lead and mentor a team of Quantity Surveyors, fostering professional development.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Minimum of 4 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably with exposure to high-rise or large-scale projects
Strong analytical and negotiation skills
Proficient in contract administration and cost management
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
