Job Description:

A respected, multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy with a strong presence in Glasgow is looking for a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing, collaborative team. The role involves project management, financial delivery of schemes, and guiding junior team members. Clear progression opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Job Responsibility:

  • Managing projects from concept through to completion
  • Taking ownership of a diverse portfolio across multiple sectors like education, residential, heritage, commercial, healthcare, retail, and housing
  • Leading financial delivery of multiple schemes
  • Offering expert cost advice
  • Managing budgets
  • Ensuring projects hit key milestones without compromising quality
  • Managing clients directly
  • Guiding junior team members

Requirements:

  • MRICS if preferred but not essential
  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy environment
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Proven track record managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong Pre & Post Contract experience
  • Ambitious, commercially aware, and delivery-driven
