Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Subcontract management and general project commercial actions
• Management of junior project commercial staff
• Delivery and accountability for internal and external project commercial targets
• Engagement with project stakeholders including Client commercial team
• Ensure the accuracy of data communicated and reported to all stakeholders
• The highlighting of any current and potential issues to the commercial manager
• Maintain compliance with approved processes procedures and project executive plans
• The active contribution to continuous improvement of the functional quality and performance of Quantity Surveying
• To work in compliance with the Collaborative Management Plan

• Supervisory/management experience within a project commercial team
• Knowledge and/or experience of the management of Subcontracts
• Degree in a related subject or equivalent experience
• Chartered member to a recognised organisation (RICS or CIOB) an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of commercial aspects of civil and infrastructure projects
• Experience of a Contract Management System (CEMAR etc)
• Capable of obtaining, or currently holds, UK Nuclear industry clearance
• Previous experience required, could manage a small team, whilst reporting into a more senior member for strategic and management guidance
