Job Description:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior QS to work on OHL, UGC & Substation projects within our thriving Energy business unit. We are looking for a Sr QS or an experienced QS looking to progress who has experience within the civil works arena, ideally delivering Energy projects. The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of passionate and dedicated individuals. We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment.

Job Responsibility:

Provide commercial expertise to aid with the delivery of the contracted work by taking the commercial lead in a geographical focused team
Ensure the provision of accurate and timely commercial reports and advice to the management team whilst ensuring the contract achieves the appropriate commercial targets

Requirements:

Educated to BSc in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent commercially related discipline)
Working towards professional membership of an appropriate organisation (for example, RICS/CIOB)
Detailed knowledge of company management systems including Commercial and financial (Commercial Manager /COINS/Sphere)
Demonstrable experience on large power infrastructure / OHL or substation projects preferred
NEC experience essential
Evidence the management of large value sub-contracts
Civils background
Experience within the civil works arena, ideally delivering Energy projects
