Job Description:

A leading independent construction consultancy are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will deliver high quality quantity surveying services across a range of commercial and mixed-use developments. This Senior Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects and provide professional quantity surveying advice to established clients. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based in London and will play a key role within a growing quantity surveying team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of cost plans and detailed budgets
  • Providing full pre and post contract quantity surveying services
  • Contract administration under JCT forms of contract
  • Managing procurement and tender processes
  • Valuations, variations and agreement of final accounts
  • Attending client and design team meetings
  • Mentoring Assistant and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors

Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant construction discipline
  • MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
  • Proven experience delivering commercial or mixed-use projects in London
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
  • Experience managing projects independently
  • Confident client-facing and reporting skills
