Job Description:

A design-led property and construction consultancy is currently looking for a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their vibrant central London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware, client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead on high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the capital. Known for their creative approach and commitment to quality, the consultancy works closely with forward-thinking developers and architects to deliver unique, design-focused schemes. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in project delivery, leading cost management from inception to completion while supporting the wider team and mentoring junior staff. Job Responsibility:

Deliver full cost consultancy services across residential and commercial projects
Lead cost planning, tender documentation, procurement, and contract administration
Oversee post-contract duties including valuations, change management, and final accounts
Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
Contribute to project strategy, reporting, and commercial oversight
Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side QS role
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited discipline
Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts and full project lifecycle
Excellent client-facing and communication skills
Experience delivering high-end or design-led developments is desirable
MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
