Job Description:

A well-established, award-winning multidisciplinary consultancy is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to be part of a dynamic and supportive team delivering a wide range of projects across various sectors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Independently manage local commissions and maintain strong client relationships
  • Prepare cost plans, tender documentation, and manage procurement processes
  • Administer post-contract services including valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
  • Chair project meetings and provide cost advice to clients and design teams
  • Coach and support junior team members
  • Ensure all documentation complies with internal QA procedures and RICS guidance

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Chartered (MRICS) or significant relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of construction
  • Confident managing projects independently from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
