Job Description:

A well-established UK-wide construction and property consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Reading office. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex schemes with a focus on Defence, Education, and PBSA sectors, alongside clear progression to Associate level.

Job Responsibility:

Delivering large-scale, NEC-based projects in the Defence, Education, and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors
Taking a lead role on a major Defence framework
Managing several projects ranging from £50m to £1bn+
Building long-term client relationships
Taking ownership of strategic cost planning
Overseeing full project lifecycles

Requirements:

MRICS preferred but not essential
Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Construction Consultancy / PQS firm
NEC contract experience – highly desirable
Track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion
Ability to manage multiple schemes and support junior team members
