Job Description:

A well-established UK-wide construction and property consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Reading office. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile, complex schemes with a focus on Defence, Education, and PBSA sectors, alongside clear progression to Associate level.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering large-scale, NEC-based projects in the Defence, Education, and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors
  • Taking a lead role on a major Defence framework
  • Managing several projects ranging from £50m to £1bn+
  • Building long-term client relationships
  • Taking ownership of strategic cost planning
  • Overseeing full project lifecycles

Requirements:

  • MRICS preferred but not essential
  • Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Construction Consultancy / PQS firm
  • NEC contract experience – highly desirable
  • Track record of delivering complex projects from inception to completion
  • Ability to manage multiple schemes and support junior team members
