Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Take full ownership of commercial performance across multiple contracts
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and NEC frameworks
• Provide commercial insight and reporting to senior leadership
• Manage cashflow forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Review and manage tenders, procurement, and contract documentation
• Identify and drive cost efficiencies and margin improvement
• Lead on commercial risk management, claims, and dispute resolution
• Maintain robust commercial systems and records (including CEMAR)
• Mentor and manage QS and Graduate QS team members

• 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
• Strong background in construction or specialist contracting
• Experience on large, complex projects or frameworks
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
• Experience in regulated sectors (nuclear, defence, infrastructure) – advantageous
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Commercially astute with a focus on profitability and risk mitigation
• Strong stakeholder management – able to influence at senior level
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
• Highly organised, analytical, and detail-driven
• Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment
