Job Description:

A progressive and highly regarded construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Surrey-based team. This is a prime opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of complex, high-value projects within a collaborative and technically strong environment delivering across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.

Job Responsibility:

Leading cost planning, estimating and feasibility studies as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Managing procurement processes, including tender preparation and contractor negotiation
Administering contracts (primarily JCT) and ensuring compliance throughout delivery
Overseeing project costs, variations and risk management
Managing valuations, interim applications and final accounts as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Producing accurate cost reports and advising clients on commercial strategy
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes

Requirements:

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction sector
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
Chartered or working towards MRICS (or equivalent professional accreditation)
Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
Confident in a client-facing Senior Quantity Surveyor role
