Job Description

A respected construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent experience to take a leading role across industrial and logistics projects.

Job Responsibility

  • leading cost planning, feasibility advice, procurement, tender reporting, contract administration, valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts
  • leading meetings, managing contractual matters, advising clients, coordinating consultants and contractors, ensuring projects delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations
  • supporting junior team members
  • maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

  • Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent construction-related qualification
  • MRICS, working towards MRICS or substantial relevant consultancy experience
  • strong consultancy experience
  • proven Employer’s Agent knowledge
  • good understanding of JCT contracts
  • experience across industrial, logistics, sheds, distribution centres or warehousing projects
  • commercially strong
