Job Description

Quantity Surveyor – Scaffolding Contractor. A well-established and highly respected Scaffolding Developer based in Greenwich is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. With a team of around 25 professionals in the office, this business has built an excellent reputation for delivering complex scaffolding and access solutions across London. They are known for their strong staff retention, collaborative culture and long-term career opportunities, making this a genuinely stable and rewarding environment. This role has arisen due to continued growth and project demand, offering the successful Quantity Surveyor the opportunity to step into a key commercial position within a busy and expanding team.

Job Responsibility

  • Managing project costs from tender through to final account
  • Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations and cost reports
  • Working closely with site and operational teams to monitor project performance
  • Supporting contract administration and commercial strategy
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Identifying risks and opportunities across projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within scaffolding, access, or a related construction sector
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise with clients and internal teams
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach
  • Degree qualified or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
