Job Description

A leading and expanding multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of major projects across infrastructure, commercial and mixed-use sectors. The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering complex schemes while working within a highly regarded and collaborative environment. This Senior Quantity Surveyor position offers both responsibility and long-term career progression.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading cost planning, feasibility studies and commercial strategy as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Managing procurement processes, tendering and contractor engagement
  • Acting as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent (JCT)
  • Driving cost control, risk management and value engineering
  • Managing valuations, variations and final accounts as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Producing and presenting detailed financial reports to clients
  • Mentoring junior surveyors and supporting team development

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
  • Proven experience operating as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the UK market
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial management
  • MRICS Chartered (or working towards)
  • Excellent client-facing, leadership and communication skills
  • Organised and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor
