Job Description

This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Preparing Applications for Payment to the client
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage a small team of Assistant Quantity Surveyors/Quantity Surveyors ensuring development of these members
  • Produce accurate CVRs and provide detail financial reports and forecasts
  • Manage and administer the contract including Early Warnings Notifications, Variations including agreement with the client
  • Cost Control and Subcontractor Management

Requirements

  • Experience within the Water/Utilities industry and a experience on a framework based contract is desirable
  • Ability to use a Works Management System to create commercial reports (AfPs/Forecast)
  • Previous experience in leading a small team is desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • A pro-active, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Full Driving Licence

Nice to have

  • Experience within the Water/Utilities industry and a experience on a framework based contract is desirable
  • Previous experience in leading a small team is desirable
