Job Responsibility

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs.
  • Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts.
  • Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering.
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact.
  • Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors.
  • Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification.
  • Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Able to work independently in office, on site, and visit clients for meeting.
  • Good analytic and negotiation skills.
