We are seeking skilled and driven Quantity Surveyors & Contract Manager (Fresh grad are encourage to apply too!) to join top-tier firms specialising in various fields, including: High-Rise / Landed property Construction: Condominium, Hospital, Semi-D; Infrastructure: Highway, railway, water treatment plant; Foundation work: Piling, substructure, geotechnical; Industrial: Factory, Data Centre; M&E; Consultant firm

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including initial estimates and final costs. Provide accurate advice on cost and procurement strategy throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage the tender process, including preparation of bills of quantities, reviewing contractor bids, and negotiating contracts. Work closely with clients and contractors to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepares bill of quantities (BoQ) involving quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs for tendering.
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms. Manage any variations or changes to the project scope and evaluate the financial impact.
  • Conduct interim valuations and prepare progress payments for contractors and subcontractors. Ensure accurate valuations of completed work for payment certification.
  • Provide post-contract cost control and management, including final accounts preparation, settlement of claims, and cost reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
