As a Senior Quality Engineer, you play a strategic role in ensuring software operability, security, sustainability, and overall product excellence. You act as both a technical leader and a quality advocate, contributing to business alignment, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement across teams. You don’t just test software — you shape quality strategy, influence SDLC practices, and mentor teams toward higher engineering standards.
Job Responsibility:
Operate and monitor testing systems in development and production
Investigate product quality to drive improvements and enhance customer satisfaction
Fully understand, apply, and promote the global Testing Strategy
Adapt testing effort based on risk and complexity
Contribute to automation at all relevant levels (Unit, API, E2E, CI/CD)
Document tests, exploratory sessions, findings, and validated bugs
Provide structured reports and data-driven recommendations to management
Investigate complex issues with Dev/SRE teams
Ensure traceability and resolve issues with integrity and customer focus
Identify process bottlenecks and propose improvements
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across QE practices, automation, and processes
Automate what adds value (tests, tasks, workflows)
Propose and implement SDLC enhancements
Work closely with DEV, QE, Product Managers, Support, IT, and Management
Contribute to engineering best practices across workstreams
Take leadership in Agile ceremonies
Mentor and coach teammates (technical and soft skills)
Share knowledge and promote a quality-driven culture
Proactively raise quality risks and propose mitigation plans
Define and monitor key product quality KPIs
Prepare and present quality metrics and reports to management
Requirements:
5+ years in IT environments
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum
Strong experience in test automation (Selenium or equivalent)
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Docker), TDD, Unit/API/E2E testing
Programming/scripting: Python, Shell, Bash, PHP
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Test management tools
Comfortable in UNIX environments and AWS
Strong analytical and complex problem-solving abilities
Customer- and product-oriented mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proactive, curious, and solution-driven
Comfortable in multicultural, cross-functional teams
Able to present complex technical topics to non-technical audiences
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Symfony or Django frameworks
