Job Description:

SRG are delighted to be partnered with a world-leading cell and gene therapy manufacturing organisation based in Edinburgh as they continue their exciting expansion programme. As part of this expansion this company are seeking a shift-based Senior QC Analyst with an analytical background to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. As Senior Quality Control analyst you will join a large, highly experienced quality function to test clinical and commercial cell and gene therapy projects/products. You will be a key point of contact for a variety of QC assays with a particular focus on flow cytometry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the analytical quality control team on a shift
  • Be a go-to person for technical queries related to the workflow and general GMP enquiries
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing/production to ensure GMP method transfer and compliance

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable prior experience in a GMP quality control lab environment
  • Team leadership experience
  • Expert level practical knowledge of flow cytometry
  • Experience in assay validation
  • Prior experience in a cell and gene therapy manufacturing organisation

  • Document business requirements to enable the implementation of 1LoD preventative and detective data quality controls
  • Drive control enhancements related to CDE DQ validations, including supporting the business through UAT and production parallel testing
  • Lead working groups and/or scrums with stakeholders and technology partners to manage the delivery within the agreed timeline(s)
  • Execute Price Risk data quality controls as defined in TOM and MCA
  • Monitor and provide governance and oversight over Price Risk CDE DQ controls, including DQ metrics, insightful project update materials and artifacts
  • Identify and understand the DQ issues aligned with that data set including end-to-end data flows and controls and ensure these are addressed in the defined target state solution with robust controls
